These Terms of Service govern your use of chinatourly.com and any journey bookings made through ChinaTourly. By accessing our website or confirming a booking, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. About ChinaTourly

ChinaTourly is operated by ChinaTourly Co., Ltd, a licensed inbound travel agency headquartered at Floor 61, Tianjin World Financial Center, Tianjin, China. We specialise in bespoke private journeys throughout mainland China for international visitors.

2. Booking & Contract

A binding contract between you and ChinaTourly is formed when we issue a written booking confirmation and receive your deposit payment. The contract incorporates these Terms, your specific journey proposal, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

All participants in a booking are bound by these Terms. The lead booker accepts these Terms on behalf of all members of their group.

3. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring all travellers hold valid passports (minimum 6 months' validity beyond travel dates)
• Obtaining the correct visa for China — we provide guidance but cannot guarantee visa issuance
• Purchasing adequate travel insurance before departure (strongly recommended)
• Providing accurate personal and health information where requested
• Complying with the laws and customs of the People's Republic of China throughout your journey

4. Our Responsibilities

We will: design your journey to a professional standard; select reputable suppliers and ground partners; provide qualified English-speaking guides where specified; and respond to any in-journey issues within a reasonable timeframe.

We are not responsible for: delays or changes caused by airlines, government authorities, or weather; personal illness or injury; loss of personal property; or events constituting force majeure.

5. Itinerary Changes

We reserve the right to make minor operational changes to your itinerary where necessary for safety or logistical reasons, provided the overall character and quality of the journey is maintained. We will notify you of any significant changes as soon as possible.

6. Pricing

All prices are quoted in USD unless stated otherwise. Prices are confirmed at the time of booking and are not subject to fuel surcharges or currency fluctuation adjustments once the deposit has been paid.

7. Liability Limitation

ChinaTourly's total liability to you under any booking shall not exceed the total price paid for that journey. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be referred to the Tianjin Arbitration Commission.
