Booking Confirmation Policy

This page explains what happens between your initial enquiry and your departure day — and how we confirm, communicate, and deliver your ChinaTourly journey.

2. Booking Confirmation
Once your deposit is received, we issue a formal Booking Confirmation by email within 24 hours. This document includes:
- Your confirmed journey dates and itinerary summary
- Lead guide name and emergency contact numbers
- Outstanding payment schedule and due date
- Pre-departure document checklist
3. Pre-Departure Pack
Approximately 14 days before departure we send a comprehensive Pre-Departure Pack containing:
- Day-by-day detailed itinerary with all timings
- Hotel addresses in English and Chinese characters
- Local SIM card / e-SIM guidance and recommended apps
- Weather forecast and packing recommendations
- Emergency contact card (printable)
- Cultural tips relevant to your specific destinations
4. In-Journey Support
Your ChinaTourly guide and our operations team are reachable by WhatsApp and phone throughout your journey. For genuine emergencies, we maintain a 24-hour emergency line that is shared in your Pre-Departure Pack.
5. Response Times
