The afternoon visits the Sacred Way and Dingling. The Sacred Way introduces the ceremonial approach, while Dingling includes an underground palace and related displays. These two stops provide a focused introduction to the district; the day does not include the other imperial tombs.

How demanding is the Great Wall walk?

Badaling includes steep gradients, steps, and uneven surfaces. You do not need to reach a particular watchtower to enjoy the visit.
