Day2 Nanjing — Ming capital & city wall
Slow start or early one, totally your call. the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and Purple Mountain is roughly the heart of today, and we leave plenty of breathing room so nothing feels rushed. Food-wise, hold out for salted duck — worth it. And here’s the bit that’s properly ours: Nanjing Yunjin brocade and gold-leaf craft — a Yunjin loom demonstration. We’ll build today loosely around the Slender West Lake gardens, at your pace and nobody else’s. Expect a small surprise or two your guide pulls out depending on the day. Yangzhou fried rice sorts the eating.

Ease into the Humble Administrators and Lingering gardens today. Nothing’s rigid — your guide flexes things around the weather and how you’re feeling, so it stays comfortable start to finish. And Suzhou sweet-savoury dishes is exactly what you’ll want when hunger hits.
