Return to Chengdu before heading north
Leshan and Emeishan form the southern part of the route. Day 5 returns to Chengdu for the night; day 6 connects north by rail and road to Jiuzhaigou. The map is a stop overview, not a train timetable.
A full day for Jiuzhaigou
Two nights near the park allow a dedicated sightseeing day between the long-distance transfers. Park shuttles, open boardwalks, weather and your walking tolerance determine the visit. Huanglong is not squeezed into this outline.

Day1 Chengdu — Arrive in Chengdu, settle into Sichuan
Meet your arrival transfer and settle into your hotel. If your arrival time and energy allow, take a gentle neighbourhood walk and pause at a local teahouse. Keep the evening flexible: an early night works just as well as a first taste of Sichuan food. No fixed panda visit is scheduled on arrival day.

A boat-viewing option can be discussed when services operate. Continue to the foot of Mount Emei for the night, so tomorrow does not begin with another long drive from Chengdu.

Practical setup before arrival
Is this a fixed group tour?
No. This is a private journey for one booking party, not a join-in group. The standard format is 4–10 people traveling together. The vehicle must accommodate guests, guide, driver, child seats and luggage; 7–10 guests require a confirmed larger vehicle or multiple vehicles. Other party sizes need confirmation before payment.
Are trains, admissions and meals included?
The written quote is the inclusion list. It itemises rail seats and fares, named-site admission, park transport, any cable car and included meals. International travel, personal spending and extras not listed are excluded. Do not assume that private vehicle service includes every rail or scenic-area fare; confirm the complete scope before payment.
Why can holiday pricing change?
The selector shows the applicable price for the chosen date, traveler count and payment option. Full payment and the deposit plan use different discounts. A deposit is only the amount due now; check the journey total, remaining balance and written quote before payment.
Does this route include both Mount Emei and Jiuzhaigou?
Yes. The eight-day outline visits Leshan on day 4, Mount Emei on day 5 and Jiuzhaigou on day 7. You return to Chengdu on day 5 before travelling north by rail and road on day 6. There are seven hotel nights. Huanglong is not part of the default outline and requires a revised schedule.
Can I fly out of Chengdu on day 8?
Only if the confirmed return train, transfer and check-in time allow it. Day 8 is mainly a road-and-rail return from Jiuzhaigou. Have the connection checked before buying onward tickets; an extra Chengdu night may be sensible and is separately quoted.
Is the mountain section suitable for children or limited mobility?
Discuss age, walking tolerance and altitude concerns before booking. Mount Emei and Jiuzhaigou involve elevation, colder weather and some walking; private transport cannot remove all steps or replace mandatory park shuttles. A lower-altitude or shorter-walking alternative changes the route and should be agreed in advance.
When is the earliest realistic departure?
We normally plan private China routes at least two months ahead so visa, permits, hotel rooms, guides, rail tickets, and any restricted-region logistics can be checked properly.
Are private performances, named masters or volunteer activities included?
No such access is guaranteed by this route description. The operator, venue, date, format and any extra charge must be confirmed in writing before a requested activity is treated as included. If unavailable, discuss an alternative before committing.
