Zhangjiajie stunning but very busy

The scenery genuinely looks like Avatar and blew me away, but the queues for the elevator and cable car were long. Go early. Despite that, an incredible, jaw-dropping place.

Zhangjiajie looks like another planet

The floating mountains that inspired Avatar are real and even better in person. The glass bridge terrified me but I did it. Came home with a thousand photos and a huge grin.
